Want to write a review? Here's the lowdown:
• Look at our past reviews to get an idea of what we're all about. Unlike reviews submitted to Amazon, for example, ours tend to be a little more detailed. Plus, we use capital letters.
• You might also want to visit our guidelines page. It details everything you'll need to include in your review. It might look scary - remember to keep breathing - but it's just that it contains a bunch of examples.
• Make sure we haven't already reviewed the DVD you want to work on. If you're unsure, ask us.
• Send your finished review to us in the text of an email. We won't open attachments. We're not really sure how.
• If we like what you've written, we'll post it. If we don't, we'll shoot you a snarky rejection e-mail and feel very uncomfortable the next time we run into you on the street.
• Remember, we don't pay. Everyone who writes for tvdvdreviews.com is really cool, though, and you'd be cool by association. Plus, if you pass your written audition, we can talk about making you a member of the regular writing staff. We would provide the DVDs - you would provide the reviews.
